Zusammenfassung
Lachat Omnion cycle period
Antwort
Yes.  The cycle period can be increased. A single sample is injected each cycle period. By making the cycle period larger there will be more time between injections and thus more time between peaks. This will also increase the length of time it will take for a run to complete. To increase the cycle period, go to the Run Properties Window, Select the Timing tab and then select RUN on the left hand side of the timing tab window. Enter a larger value in the Method Cycle Period field
to increase the amount of time between each sample injection.

Over range samples can also cause peaks to resolve too close together.  In cases where the cycle period used has worked
with better resolution in the past, and samples are not out of range, this may indicate a flow problem or issue with
injection valve.

Are there any suggestions or tips on troubleshooting flow problems on the Lachat QC8500 FIA instruments?

How can one troubleshoot a Lachat FIA valve?
