How often does the internal electrolyte solution needed to be refilled or replaced on a refillable pH electrode?
Zusammenfassung
Refilling and replacement frequency for refillable pH electrodes.
Antwort
The frequency that the filling solution will need to be topped-off or replaced for a refillable pH probe will vary depending on model, junction type, frequency of use, and sample type.

Generally the internal filling volume needs to be a higher volume level than the external volume level of the sample while the probe is submerged at all times. As the electrolyte gets consumed through use, make sure to maintain the filling volume of the probe to make sure that the volume level never dips below the volume level of the sample while submerged.

The filling solution should only need to be replaced as a troubleshooting step to resolve calibration issues caused by a larger offset.
